Factor 5 has fixed Lair‘s control scheme with an upcoming update.
Lair, one of Sony’s earliest exclusive titles for the PlayStation 3, was hammered by critics and consumers alike for the lack of analog controls (the Sixaxis controls were widely identified as inaccurate).
But an online update, available in Japan on June 17, will install analog controls half a year after the game’s launch.
Other features included in the June update are a targeting symbol for dragon aiming, Dualshock 3 rumble support, Lair-themed system backgrounds and the use of the Wind Dragon and Poison Dragon in all levels. These downloadable upgrades will all be offered free when the update is released.
