Today’s strip is based on a true story. I’ve got less than ten years on my girlfriend’s son; He’s 17 and I’m 26, and we’re both still very much in the process of growing up. While I don’t take naturally to the role of the household authoritarian, I am rather good at it on account of my natural creative malevolence. There’s no fun in confiscating a laptop, but there’s hours of entertainment in watching a child slowly come to terms with the fact that Stockpile Thomas isn’t going to give them their items back because he’s too busy being dead.
