New content is available for download this week on all three platforms. Old games for the Wii, a new game for the 360 and PSOne games for the PSP.
If you want to play PSOne games on your PSP system, you’re going to need a USB cable and a PS3 to get them. The first group of PSOne games are available for download through the PS3 store for $5.99. They include Crash Bandicoot, Tekken 2, Coolboarders, Syphon Filter and Hot Shots Golf 2. Ranging from 157MB to 535MB, gamers will transfer the titles onto the memory stick slotted into the PSP.
The promised Monday update to the Wii went live yesterday, adding Donkey Kong Jr. (NES), Victory Run (TurboGrafx 16), Columns (Genesis) and Ristar (Genesis). $8.00 for the Genesis games, $6.00 for the Turbografx and $5.00 for the Nintendo title.
On Xbox Live this Wednesday RoboBlitz, powered by the Unreal Engine 3, will launch for $14.99. Independent developer Naked Sky Entertainment created the game, promising 19 levels of “puzzle-solving and high-intensity action.” This is the first game to appear on the Xbox Live Marketplace using the same engine that brought you Gears of War and Rainbow Six: Vegas.
