Another PSP Bundle is on the horizon, this one involving cars.

Sony recently revealed another PSP bundle, the Limited Edition Gran Turismo PSP Entertainment Pack. Included will be a Mystic Silver PSP-3000, Gran Turismo PSP (UMD Version), a voucher for the bundle’s exclusive in-game white Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, a 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, a voucher for a downloadable movie that is to-be-determined, and a Sony MusicPass voucher good for 10 downloadable songs (U.S. residents only). The bundle will be released on October 20, 2009 for $199.99 MSRP.

This pack is mirrored somewhat by Sony’s offer to give away Gran Turismo PSP for free to those who register their PSP Go early enough. I personally would rather purchase this bundle, along with another memory stick or two to download games onto, keeping a UMD drive in the process for older games. Still, it’s nice that Sony is still backing both PSP models, almost acknowledging that the market is not ready to go fully digital just yet with the PSP Go.

The Limited Edition Gran Turismo PSP Entertainment Pack will join the large crowd of PSP bundles that have already hit the market. In the U.S. alone, I can think of the Daxter, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters (silver and black), Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, God of War: Chains of Olympus, Madden 2009, Rock Band: Unplugged, Hannah Montana, and Dissidia: Final Fantasy bundles, with an Assassin’s Creed bundle in the works. Sony may be taking second place in the handheld war, but you can’t say it’s for lack of decent bundles, that’s for sure.
