teemo

The rumours are true – LoL’s demon child, Teemo is the next 2XKO Fighter

Well, the rumors are true. Teemo is indeed the first champion added to 2XKO’s fighter pool. Players will be able to get their hands on Teemo when the game releases into early access on October 7.

The announcement of Teemo comes with a trailer, demonstrating some of the combos you can use. The character has a mixture of close-range melee attacks, alongside ranged poke with his bamboo blowgun. The character also has his iconic mushrooms that he can throw to create hazards or combo extenders.

One of the new things that Teemo has is his passive brush. In League, Teemo loves hiding in bushes and gets some bush synergy. However, he has a power-up that allows him to use fire attacks from his dart gun, which can ignite the bushes, serving as a strategic trap placer for future combos and planning phases. There are also some chasing mushrooms, and even some form of mushroom airstrike, which are certainly new.

As for the character, he seems to have some interesting dialogue with the characters already in the game. He seems to interact with Braum, Darius, Illaoi, and Ahri with some unique voice lines, which is an added touch for the Teemo BM that is all too common in League’s Teemo laugh spam. So, good to know Teemo is poised to ruin the mental of 2XKO players too.

With Riot Games’ 2XKO due to release in early access on October 7, the developers have mentioned that there will be 5 new champions a year. They also mentioned that as soon as early access launches, the new seasonal grind will commence. And with every season, a new champion will be released to play as. And, as you might have guessed, Teemo is the first one coming with the early access launch of the game.
