Riot Games’ latest game, 2XKO is almost here. With the title getting ever closer to launch, Riot is offering access to the closed beta, taking place from September 9th, with the aim of keeping the game open for as long as possible, leading to full release.
However, it is a closed beta, and so you will need an invite to get in. Luckily for you, Riot has mentioned there are a few ways to get 2XKO beta keys.
How to get a 2XKO closed beta key
As it stands, there are a few ways to get a beta key for 2XKO, which are:
- Sign up for beta access on the 2XKO website and log in with your Riot Games Account to sign up.
- Receive a referral link from a friend who has access to the 2XKO closed beta.
- If you were already an alpha player, then you will have access to the closed beta.
The final option we are aware of is to join the 2XKO Discord and check the ask-for-beta-keys-channel. This channel is where players with spare beta keys can send referral links to players asking in the channel.
As it stands, it is a somewhat selective process to get into the beta, which is likely to control the server load come launch. As the beta goes on, Riot has said in its Beta announcement trailer that invite waves will go out over time, allowing people access to the Beta to test it out.
There’s also no Twitch Drop campaigns announced yet, unlike the recent high-profile Battlefield 6 beta keys. So, you’ll have to keep an eye on official channels for getting your hands on a closed beta key.
If you do get one, be aware that the Closed Beta starts as PC only, with it eventually rolling out to console partway through the process. It will have crossplay when it does, so you don’t need to worry about a restricted player base or not playing with a co-op friend on a different platform.
