New annual event comes to Warhammer: Vermintide 2 and it’s dragged us right back into this great game

As much as I still love Warhammer 40k: Darktide, there can be no denying that Vermintide 2 shows most games of this ilk how it should be done. For oiy and out Warhammer fun, it’s tough to find anything better, even after all these years.

And with a huge playerbase still, it is amazing to see the devs at Fatshark continuing to not only support Vermintide, but bring it new content and events.

As if to prove that Vermintide 2 is going nowhere anytime soon we now have a new annual event called the Feast of Grimnir.

During this event, players will be able to earn Shillings by defeating trolls and use them in the in-game store, Lohner’s Emporium of Wonders, while enjoying Double XP and the opportunity to claim almost all previous event rewards for a limited time.

“Set within a long-abandoned dwarven stronghold, Feast of Grimnir challenges players to prove their worth against towering trolls. The once snowbound halls of the dwarfhold have thawed, revealing sprawling stone corridors, hidden passages, and branching paths for the Heroes to explore. The renowned Cousin Okri even makes a special cameo for the core community, guiding Heroes through the challenge.”

This year’s event began on August 26 and will last until September 14. For the duration of the event, the new event level, ‘The Feast of Grimnir’, will be accessible via the Weekly Event Game Mode

So, sounds fun and if you haven’t been in Vermintide 2 for a while this looks like a great reason to jump back in and remember how good it actually is.
