The dance genre has a new star, a certain red overalls-clad plumber.
Mario is a man of many talents. He can drive a mean go-kart. He is pretty good at whatever ball or puck you throw at him. Mario is a damn good doctor, and he can even settle heavyweight disputes as a boxing referee. But his dancing skills were in dispute, considering "Captain" Lou Albano didn't exactly stick the landing in closing credits of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Well, now you can finally make that little Italian dance like the champ he is in Ubisoft's Just Dance 3 for the Wii. The "Mario" song will be available for download for 250 Wii points starting on December 14th.
At first, I wasn't sure what to expect from this smashup of videogame character and dance game. But once I saw the video above, I had no idea just how crazy it was going to be. Mario dancing around in an even more psychedelic version of the Mushroom Kingdom with accurate sound effects and ... does he throw a fireballs at goombas and koopas there at the end?
Ok, this is weird enough to actually be interesting. Now if only I owned Just Dance 3 and could resurrect Funk from exile in China to do his Mario dance for real. Seriously, watch all the way to the end of this video, you won't be disappointed.
