Nintendo Confirms Wii Console Numbers

Following news that Sony is cutting shipments, Nintendo has reconfirmed the Wii shipment targets.

Nintendo of America has reconfirmed that the Wii is on track to ship a total of six million units worldwide by March 2007. A launch date and price point is likely to be revealed on September 14th during Nintendo’s press event.
