Nintendo Wii to Launch With 32 Titles

Nintendo has confirmed their final launch list with 32 games expected to be available for the Wii system within the first five weeks of release.

The system is built on the foundation of first party titles, but the extended launch list features strong third party support as well, including wide support by Ubisoft which announced recently that support for the Wii was a key part of the company’s strategy. Other early supporters include Activision, EA, Midway, and THQ.

Nintendo also plans to have 30 downloadable retro games available including: Super Mario 64, F-Zero, Sonic the Hedgehog and the original Mario Brothers.
