Nintendo said on Twitter that it will be showing off some of the game’s “new features” in the broadcast.

Splatoon 2 is the follow-up to Splatoo, which was Nintendo’s first new major IP since Pikmin. The game will let up to 10 Switch owners link their consoles for tournament play, will have support for Amiibos, and more.

This will be the second Direct for the game, as the first one focused on Splatoon 2‘s new PvE mode, Salmon Run. Splatoon 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch on July 21.
