OneBigGame Created to Fund Children’s Charities

OneBigGame was recently founded to become the world’s first non-profit videogame publisher. The initiative was started to sell videogames in order to raise funds for a variety of children’s charities worldwide.

A number of game developers have already pledged their support to the cause; designers Charles Cecil of Revolution Software, Eric Zimmerman of Gamelab and Ernest Adams of International Hobo, to name a few. Development Studios Avalanche Studios, Relentless, Kuju and Freestyle are also on board.

OneBigGame will officially go public at the Game Developers Conference 2007 in San Francisco.
