Send Megan Fox to Hell With Dante’s Inferno Facebook App

The Dante’s Inferno marketing blitz just does not stop, now with an application released that will allow you to send friends, family, and celebrities straight to hell.

Dante’s Inferno is a game that involves hell. Hell has nine circles that are each related to a different sin. If you don’t know this already, you must not follow videogame news, because the Dante’s Inferno marketing team has been up our collective asses about it for quite some time now.

The newest promotion for the game is a social application for Facebook and the iPhone that allows you to send people to one of the nine circles of hell: Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Anger, Heresy, Violence, Fraud, or Treachery. People that use the app can then vote to absolve or damn anybody in hell, but votes are limited in number and regenerate over time.

My “hell dashboard” tells me that Megan Fox and Sarah Palin are the most damned people at the moment, condemned to the circles of Lust and Treachery respectively. Even in hell, people can’t resist commenting that Palin is a “hottie,” which makes me lose a little faith in humanity. There appears to be some method that certain users can actually torment those sent to hell, but I haven’t figured it out yet.

The Facebook app is available here, and the free iPhone app should be available soon. Otherwise, visit this website to get in on the Megan Fox damning action.
