The Last of Us Comes to Diablo III in PS3/4 Exclusive Crossover Content

You’ll be able to encounter some of The Last of Us‘ iconic zombies in the PS3/4 version of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.

Fans of both Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us and Blizzard’s Diablo III will be in for a treat when the Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition comes to PS3 and PS4 this August. Namely, when you’re delving into the game’s Nephalem Rifts, you may encounter a level containing some of the survival horror title’s iconic zombie enemies.

Clickers and bloaters will appear exclusively in the PS3 and PS4 version of the game as enemies. If you’ve played Diablo III before, you’ll know that enemies are dispatched with… much more ease than they are in The Last of Us. I’m sure slaughtering clickers by the truckload will satisfy those The Last of Us players who frequently got their neck snapped by the creepy sonar plant zombies in the Naughty Dog title.

The Ultimate Evil edition of Diablo III compiles the base game along with the recently-released Reaper of Souls expansion pack. It will be released for all current and next-gen consoles (except the Wii u – sorry Nintendo fans!) on August 19.
