The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt New-Gen Version Launches Q4 2022

Back in April, we reported the new-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was delayed. It was to come out in Q2 2022. Since development was moved in-house, more time was needed to polish the port. Now, on the title’s 7th anniversary, CD Projekt Red has revealed a new release date window of Q4 2022 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on new-gen platforms, which includes PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.

Q4 of course encompasses the dates of October until December. So by year’s end, gamers will be able to play The Witcher 3 in all its stable frame rate glory!

CD Projekt Red global community director Marcin Momot reminded players of the game’s content. The new-gen release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will include the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions, all previous DLC and patches, and new DLC inspired by the Netflix series The Witcher. A video game-accurate Henry Cavill will be sure to send all men and women into a tizzy.

The new-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release on PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC in Q4 2022. As a refresher, anyone who owns a last-gen edition of The Witcher 3 on PC, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 will be eligible for a free update to this fancier one.
