Tropico Developer’s Gangsters Conquer Atlantic City

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

Omerta: City of Gangsters, the latest turn-based strategy from Haemimont Games, has a 2013 release date.

Welcome to Atlantic City; hope you brought your own booze, as Prohibition is law, but Haemimont Games hopes you’ll change that when you take the town over. Its latest turn-based strategy game, Omerta: City of Gangsters, will have you shooting your way to the top of Atlantic City’s crime syndicates.

Cover and stealth will feature in the turn-based action on the ground, but there’s also going to be city-scale strategic planning and intelligence gathering. You get to manage your hoods pretty much from what’s in their pockets to what’s in their skill trees, and cross-platform multiplayer is also on offer for those who think that one Atlantic City just isn’t enough. For more information, check out the game’s page.

The release date for this one is split. Mac and Steam for Mac gamers will get it sometime soon; the developer hasn’t said exactly when, other than early 2013. PC and Xbox 360 gamers get it February 12th. Regardless, if turn-based boozy action is your thing, you haven’t long to wait!
