Biomutant Combat Trailer & Mercenary Class Preorder Bonus Revealed

The long-awaited Biomutant just got a new trailer showing off some of the game’s bombastic combat. Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Experiment 101 posted the footage today as the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One May 25 release date draws nearer. If you can’t wait to get your hands on the game, you can begin preorders now.

The video also doubles as an announcement for the Mercenary class preorder bonus, which is available to all pre-purchased versions of the game, with the exception of the physical standard edition. The Mercenary bonus grants instant access to the class’s unique perks and samurai look, and it will be available as a post-release purchase for those that choose not to preorder. A unique Biomutant theme will also be given to those who preorder on PlayStation 4.

Biomutant was first revealed all the way back in 2017 but has been developed with updates few and far between since then. Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic had to reassure fans that the game was still coming early last year, delivering 10 minutes of gameplay footage a few months after that. After lots of waiting and not as many updates as fans were hoping for, THQ Nordic revealed Biomutant’s May release date earlier this year. Today’s Biomutant combat trailer keeps the game fresh in our minds as the release approaches.
