Compared to yesterday, today has been lighter in terms of video game news, but there’s still much to discuss! Aside from the absolutely stunning Demon’s Souls remake footage that was shown, Sony published interesting stats about Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has a new release date, the Uncharted movie has finally wrapped filming, and more. Here’s the video game news you might’ve missed on Oct. 29, 2020.

Sony Shares Stats About Ghost of Tsushima: Legends

Today, Sony released some interesting data about Sucker Punch Productions’ multiplayer expansion, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. Specifically, nearly 12 million Legends Mode missions have been played, 141 million Oni have been defeated, over 22 million Spirit Dogs have been summoned, and 1.3 billion enemies have been eliminated. It was also revealed that the most popular class is the Assassin, with 30% of players choosing it over the others. Given these stats, it’s safe to say Legends is a hit.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Will Launch Next Month

Following its unfortunate delay last month, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has a new release date, as announced by Blizzard via Twitter today. The expansion will now launch on Nov. 23 at 3 p.m. PT. Players will also be able to enjoy the expansion’s pre-launch event on Nov. 10, followed by its first raid, Castle Nathria, on Dec. 8, which coincides with Shadowlands‘ first season of content.

Path of Exile Patch Delayed Due to Cyberpunk 2077’s New Launch Date

It’s not unusual for games to be pushed back to avoid other popular titles, but it is odd to see a publisher outright admit it publicly. Today, publisher Grinding Gear Games announced via Twitter that Path of Exile‘s 3.13 expansion has been delayed to January 2021 to avoid running into Cyberpunk 2077. You’ll recall that Cyberpunk 2077 was recently delayed to Dec. 10 and is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year.

Check Out the Launch Trailer for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope

In celebration of the game’s launch, publisher Bandai Namco released a trailer for Supermassive Games’ The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, showing off some of its characters and its overall tone. Based on media reactions, Little Hope has been reviewing much better than its predecessor, Man of Medan. Little Hope is part of The Dark Pictures Anthology, a series that plays very much like predecessor Until Dawn, and is a narrative-driven, choice-based adventure. Little Hope will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One tomorrow, Oct. 30.

The Uncharted Movie Has Finished Filming

Finally, after being in development hell for the better part of a decade, the Uncharted movie has wrapped up filming. This news comes by way of the film’s official Twitter account, in which an image was posted with the caption “Sic Parvis Magna. That’s a wrap on (the Uncharted movie).” The film was originally supposed to hit theaters this December but was pushed back to July 16, 2021. It stars Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake and Sully respectively, and Ruben Fleischer is director.
