Super Mario 3D All-Stars Adds GameCube Controller Support to Sunshine

Super Mario 3D All-Stars has gotten a free update implementing GameCube controller support into Super Mario Sunshine. This is the same update that allows the ability to invert the controls, so now Sunshine plays almost exactly the same way it did when it launched for the GameCube in 2002. Keep in mind though that you must have a standard Switch model and an adaptor to utilize a GameCube controller — the Switch Lite doesn’t support this controller option.

At least the PlayStation 4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 will be 70 GB in size and will ship on two discs, according to images of the game’s box art (via Twitter user @WOops3301). Much like the developer’s previous game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077 will come with extra goodies like a world compendium, stickers, postcards, a map, and a code for digital content. It’s expected to hit store shelves on Dec. 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and it will be compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Next year, a dedicated next-gen version of the game will also be released, and it will be a free upgrade for those who already own the current-gen version.

Yesterday, we reported on the mysterious locked door found within the Demon’s Souls remake. Fans were able to use the game’s photo mode to spot an item behind the door, but it’s still unknown what the item is, since the door has yet to be opened. Today, the game’s developer, Bluepoint Games, tweeted an image of the item, with the caption, “A symphony of rumors…” leading many to think this is a tease for a Castlevania: Symphony of the Night remake. Of course, this has not been confirmed at all, but it is very curious to see Bluepoint add fuel to the fire with its tweet. Will the item behind the door confirm the studio’s next game? We’ll have to wait to find out.
