And yet that’s exactly what we’re asking you to do for today’s event. It can be about anything related to videogames, so you’ve got plenty of material to use as inspiration. Good luck!
The Rules
You must be a member of The Escapist to participate. If you aren’t already, please sign up HERE
Please create a haiku using the 5-7-5 standard. It can be on any topic of your choosing. Get creative!
Submissions
Submit your haiku, ALONG WITH YOUR ESCAPIST NAME, to [email protected]. Please make the subject heading: Haiku Contest Submission.
The deadline for this contest is Wednesday, August 20th at 11:59PM EST.
Automatic dismissal
Anything submitted with vulgarity will automatically be deleted.
Voting
The winners will be decided based on the number of votes received. Voting will begin on Thursday, August 21st and will end on Friday, August 22nd at approximately 3PM EST.
Awards
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals/badges will be given to the top 3 haikus with the most votes.
Permanent Banning
If you are found cheating in any way, shape or form, you will be permanently banned from all Themis Media properties and have all previous medals, badges and titles stripped.
