Little Nightmares II, demo, trailer, bandai namco, Tarsier Studios

A free demo for Little Nightmares II just dropped ahead of its February launch. Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Tarsier Studios published a new trailer to convey the reveal. The demo can be downloaded on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can also try the demo on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, but considering there is no solid release date for these platforms, it seems you’ll only be playing the last-gen version of the demo via backwards compatibility for now. You can watch the trailer below for a better look at Little Nightmares II’s intimidating world.

Little Nightmares II was revealed as a scary follow-up during Gamescom 2019. Around one year later, Bandai Namco and Tarsier revealed the game’s gameplay trailer. The Escapist spoke with Tarsier Senior Narrative Designer Dave Mervik in November 2019, so you can read his thoughts on the original game and what we can expect with the sequel.

Little Nightmares II launches Feb. 11, 2021, for PC, Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Players hoping to jump in on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S will have to wait a bit longer, as those versions are still only planned to arrive sometime later this year.
