Microsoft and Old Spice Reward Gamerscores

Microsoft and Old Spice offer prizes for earning achievement points.

Microsoft and Old Spice will be offering prizes for gamers who manage to raise their gamerscore by 1,500 points from February 12 to April 12. To be eligible for prizes, competitors must have a Windows Live ID linked to their Gamertag, be a legal resident of the United States, be at least 13 years old and register some time after February 12 on the contest page. A total of $500,000 in prizes will be awarded.

Prizes will be divided among three levels based on a person’s Gamerscore before they enter the contest. Players in each level will receive:

  • Level 1: (0-4,999 points before competing)- Special Gamer Picture, Dashboard theme, Contra for Xbox LIVE Arcade
  • Level 2: (5,000-9,999 points)- Level One Prizes, 100 Microsoft Points and a contest T-shirt
  • Level 3: (10,000+)- Level One Prizes, 200 Microsoft Points, contest T-shirt and Fusion Frenzy 2
