EA and BioWare have revealed the first cinematic teaser trailer for a new Mass Effect game at The Game Awards 2020. Unfortunately, the trailer provided no real details. However, it did feature scenes of space travel, concluding with a glimpse of an Asari climbing a snowy mountain and digging up a piece of armor emblazoned with “N7.”

The official description for the trailer on YouTube reiterates that a “veteran team at BioWare is in the early stages of what is on the horizon for the Mass Effect franchise,” suggesting that this project may yet be some time away from fruition.

The tease follows the announcement last month that a new entry in the series is in active development. Meanwhile, a remaster of the first three series entries is set to release early next year on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
