Rockstar Shows Off Glorious Max Payne 3 PC Screens

The PC version of Max Payne 3 may lag a little behind its console counterparts, but it’s going to look absolutely incredible when it gets here.

It’s a little disappointing that we PC gamers will have to wait a couple weeks longer to get our hands on Max Payne 3 but on the upside, those with the hardware to handle it will enjoy some truly stunning visuals when it finally arrives. Rockstar promises the PC release will feature “gloriously increased resolution and graphical detail” and has thrown out three new hi-definition screens to show off what the game can do.

Of course, we’re not quite sure yet what sort of hardware you’ll need to make the game this pretty. Rockstar hasn’t yet released the Max Payne 3 PC system requirements, although information about “special graphics hardware support and enhancements” and full system specs are expected to be announced soon. In the meantime, if you’re not sure whether or not you’ve got the iron to run this at full balls, you probably don’t.

Max Payne 3 comes out on May 15 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and May 29 for the PC.
