It showcases the game’s four playable characters, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang. The game looks to take place in Metropolis in the middle of an invasion, perhaps by Brainiac. Amanda Waller is commanding the members of the Suicide Squad to take down the “Alpha Target,” lest she kills them by blowing up the bombs implanted in their heads. After dispatching a few random enemies, Superman seemingly shows up to help out. He has rescued a pilot, but then all of sudden kills him. It’s then revealed that Superman is actually the Alpha Target, as he looks to be brainwashed given the purple hue in his eyes.

Rocksteady Studios revealed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a continuation of the Arkham universe and offers online co-op for two-to-four players. Solo play is available with the other three characters controlled by an AI. The entire game is playable in both single-player and multiplayer, with the ability to switch between characters in the case of the former. Each character will have their own skills and traversal mechanics to explore the open world of Metropolis.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release in 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
