Super Mario Odyssey to Launch on Switch this October

The newest Super Mario game is landing on Switch in October or this year.

Super Mario Odyssey was first teased in October of last year, and was officially announced back in January. We knew that Nintendo was planning to focus on the game this E3, and the company did just that, starting with a new trailer.

The new game drops Mario into a sandbox world, and tasks him with gathering Moons to power his airship. He also needs to rescue Princess Peach from being forced into a wedding with Bowser. He’ll have plenty of new abilities at his disposal, including the ability to possess a dinosaur, apparently. You’ll be able to travel through New Donk City, as well as underwater, desert, and prehistoric environments.

Super Mario Odyssey is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 27, 2017.
