Every new Fortnite season is incomplete without its fair share of bosses, and Captain Phasma and Darth Vader are filling that void for Galactic Battle.
While Darth Vader has hijacked Shogun X’s POI for himself, Captain Phasma hasn’t exactly been so lucky. However, challenging and defeating the latter is still a bit more rewarding than going up against Vader during the Galactic Battle season because of the rewards on offer.
How to Find Captain Phasma in Fortnite Galactic Battle
To find Captain Phasma, make your way to the First Order base. This area is located on the northeastern edge of the island and is basically a snow-covered mountain peak. Since this is an Imperial Legion base, you’ll encounter a lot of Stormtroopers here.
There are five different entrances here, but the utility shaft is the one that you want to target because it’s the easiest to enter from here. You should find Captain Phasma patrolling the POI along with some Stormtroopers, so make sure you’ve got enough firepower to take them all out.

Since this is a boss lair, be careful, because it’s bound to be a hot drop, and you don’t want to be ambushed by the enemy while dealing with the boss and her own army of NPCs. Even if you defeat the boss first, you’ll still have to deal with the other Stormtroopers. So, we recommend eliminating the smaller NPCs first, before targeting Captain Phasma.
Captain Phasma Loot Drops in Fortnite
Once you’ve defeated Captain Phasma, she’ll drop the following items:
- Captain Phasma’s F-11D Blaster (Mythic)
- Phasma’s Blaster Medallion
Since the F-11D Blaster is a mythic, it’s bound to deal more damage than your normal crop of weapons. However, it’s the medallion that’s more important here. Every single weapon in the Galactic Battle season is based on a cooldown. This medallion reduces the cooldown time for all your blasters and increases the time it takes to overheat.
Having Phasma’s Blaster Medallion in Fortnite can ensure victory in almost every engagement. However, when you have the medallion on you, your location will be exposed on the map, so you’ll be a target for every single player in the lobby. There’s only one medallion right now, but as more are added throughout the season, collecting more medallions will make your location on the minimap increasingly precise.
