Ubisoft announced today that it is developing Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for release next year. The title will come to both consoles and handhelds in May 2010. Unfortunately, details are incredibly sparse at the moment. The Forgotten Sands will return to the Sands of Time storyline that was diverged from in the most recent game in the series, titled Prince of Persia, which was first released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in December 2008.
