The Sky network will air competitive gaming tournaments hosted by XLeague.TV
XLeague.TV, England’s first “eSports” television channel, airs for the first time ever today on Sky Channel 291. Based on the online XLeague The network is set to feature competitive live and recorded competitions, league and tournament play with commentators, league analysis, match highlights, game news and reviews.
Potential players may also register on the website next week for the opportunity to compete with the online league for prizes and on-air spots. Games to be featured in the league include Gears of War, Resistance: Fall of Man, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Halo 2, Project Gotham Racing and Motorstorm.
