There are some Black Ops 2 classics, Survival mode maps for Zombies, and much more to cover with our full Black Ops 7 map list, so here’s all of the battlegrounds you’ll be visiting in multiplayer and zombies – including those coming to the Skirmish mode.

Oh, and there’s a peek at Season 1, too, thanks to the Call of Duty blog.

All Black Ops 7 Multiplayer Maps

Here’s every map in Black Ops 7 at launch:

Blackheart

An offshore drilling platform, Blackheart is a 6v6 map with a central, circular diving bell to move around, and there are plenty of opportunities to use the wall jump, too.

Colossus

Colossus is another 6v6 map within a luxury resort that’s slipping into the sea after sustaining catastrophic damage.

Cortex

A fun map from the BO7 beta, Cortex is playable in 2v2 and 6v6 and takes place in a cliffside compound conducting experiments. Be careful around those test tubes – they’re an ideal ambush spot.

Den

This Japanese castle has been turned into a technologically guarded fortress, and is playable in 6v6 modes. Expect a lot of combat in the dojo area.

Exposure

Another 6v6 battlefield, this one is set in the Australian Outback and popped up in the beta. There are a lot of sightlines to be wary of in this one.

Express

Back from Black Ops 2, this was always a fun map back in the day, and I’m glad to see it back for 6v6 action. Stay off the tracks!

Flagship

Fight underneath a decommissioned aircraft carrier and fight throughout the ship’s lower decks in 6v6 and 2v2 action.

Hijacked

Another Black Ops 2 redux, Hijacked returns, and it’s found its way to Tokyo Bay this time around. Classic three-lane design? Count us in.

Homestead

Set in David Mason’s childhood home beneath the Northern Lights, Homestead is a snowy 6v6 map with the option to swim in the freezing waters.

Imprint

Another Alaskan map, this one is a frozen robotics complex that will play host to 6v6 modes and features activatable lifts to move more quickly.

Nuketown 2025

It wouldn’t be Black Ops without Nuketown, but you’ll have to wait a little for this Black Ops 2 remaster – it’s arriving as part of pre-season. It’ll be playable in 6v6 modes.

Paranoia

Playable in 2v2 and 6v6 modes, Paranoid takes place in a hospital but might not even be real at all, potentially taking place in Mason’s mind. Trippy.

Raid

Another Black Ops 2 remaster, this beachside mansion in Japan is playable in 6v6 and looks just like you remember it – only shinier.

Retrieval

Taking place around a downed vehicle in Alaskan tundra, Retrieval is a 6v6 map with ice caverns and scattered cargo crates.

Scar

Poor ol’ Alaska – it’s the setting of Scar, a 6v6 map which takes place in a small town setting but with sniper spots like the motel balcony.

The Forge

Set in an R&D lab, this modern building is filled with test chambers with unique combat opportunities so you’ll want to keep your wits about you.

Toshin

This futuristic map is built for 6v6 combat and has plenty of verticality and a number of sightlines. Expect plenty of chokepoints.

Black Ops 7 Skirmish Maps explained

Aside from those 6v6 maps, Black Ops 7 includes two Skirmish maps, which are intended for 20v20 matches.

There are two at launch: Mission: Edge, and Mission: Tide, with the former being an urban playground and the latter a coastal fortress.

Black Ops 7 Zombies Map List

Ashes of the Damned

This year, things kick off with Ashes of the Damned – a new story-based map with quests to complete. It’s a bit of a spiritual successor to Tranzit, meaning you can enjoy a welcome return for the bus-driving bot, T.E.D.D.

The story here continues the Dark Aether storyline, which has now been running since Black Ops 4, if I’m not mistaken.

Survival Maps

Remember when Black Ops Zombies maps were relatively small and didn’t need to be huge, labyrinthine beasts? Survival Maps harken back to those halcyon days with smaller areas to run and gun around.

At launch, there’s just one – Vandorn Family Farm. Another will arrive in Season 1, though.
