Ready for the most boring leak of 2025? Looks like Teemo could be the final launch fighter in 2XKO

I keep trying to be excited about 2XKO and I’m just not. This recent leak has not helped.

Riot Games is determined to really immerse 2XKO in fighting game culture and I’m here for it. Seems pretty exciting for the FGC to have Riot in the mix (if they can hold back from trying to fit in with mainstream esports audiences). The more money and support the FGC gets the better.

That’s why I really want to like 2XKO but I never have. First, I’m not a League of Legends player and second, the game demos I’ve played throughout the years are not exciting to me. It feels overly complicated yet not at all satisfying, a combination that has not really given me any personal investment in the game.

It also never helped that the developers were releasing new characters soooooo slow. And every time a new character is added (or leaked), it’s who you’d exactly expect.

Latest 2XKO Leak Does Nothing For Me

League of Legends’ most popular champion is probably Teemo, basically the mascot for the MOBA. He’s a tiny Yordle that basically looks like a fuzzy rodent wearing clothes.

2XKO surprised nobody when it accidentally leaked the first image of the battle pass, which included all of the fighters set to be on the release roster along with a familiar fuzzy face. In response, 2XKO replied: “How’d that get in there.”

The lack of a question mark leads me to believe the joke is that they are being nonchalant, meaning Teemo is definitely the last champion who will appear on the roster at launch. And this is not surprising or interesting. Developers have addressed the ongoing cry for a Yordle to get into 2XKO in the past, saying they’d figure out how to make this not super annoying and unbalanced due to their size difference.

So now we have the 10 first fighters for 2XKO, all super popular and expected champions. But maybe Riot was hoping the inclusion of the heavily demanded Teemo would distract the FGC from the fact that 2XKO will have three battle pass tiers, including two that cost money. Premium Plus? Really? Ug.

While I’m sorta bored even writing this, I’m sure plenty of people are stoked to see a very popular fighter allegedly arriving in 2XKO. I’d probably care too if I cared about 2XKO at all.

How’d that get in there.
