Playson launches Rhino Coins: Hit the Bonus with dual features and 15,000x jackpots

Playson has unveiled its latest slot release, the catchily-titled Rhino Coins: Hit the Bonus, introducing a feature-heavy experience built around dual bonus mechanics, multiple jackpot tiers, and a new six-option Bonus Buy system.

The game centres on two core Bonus Games — Coin and Rhino — each with standard and enhanced Super Bonus variants. Triggered by landing six or more qualifying symbols, the features expand gameplay with respin mechanics and multiplier potential. A Super Bonus symbol unlocks an upgraded 5×5 grid version of each feature, increasing the chances for larger payouts.

In both Coin Bonus modes, symbols can carry multiplier values of up to 9x, with three respins resetting each time a new symbol lands. The round concludes when respins expire or the grid is filled, combining symbol values into a total win.

The Rhino Bonus Game follows a similar structure but introduces additional elements such as random multipliers and Mystery symbols, which are revealed at the end of the feature. These can transform into Rhino or Jackpot symbols, potentially boosting returns further.

Across both bonus types, players can access five jackpot tiers, including a Grand Jackpot awarded for filling the grid completely, and a Royal Jackpot in Super Bonus modes worth up to 15,000x the stake.

The base game also includes a Rhino Power Feature, which can randomly trigger Bonus Games by adding the required symbols to the reels.

In a studio first, the title also introduces six graded Bonus Buy options, offering direct access to enhanced features including Super Bonus modes with guaranteed jackpots and additional multipliers.

Anton Ivannikov, CPO at Playson, said: “Rhino Coins: Hit the Bonus™ represents another step forward in how we approach feature-rich gameplay, combining layered bonus pathways with strong win potential.

“By introducing dual Bonus Games, Super Bonus access and our first-ever six-tier Bonus Buy system, we’ve created a release that offers both variety and depth, giving players multiple ways to engage with the experience.”
