John Popko is a journalist with over a decade of experience covering the APAC region — focusing on games, technology, and esports. He is currently a writer and editor for Inven, South Korea’s largest gaming publication, and has contributed freelance work to Rest of World, Esports Insider, and The Korea Times. Before that, he was a staff writer for Esports Heaven. He is currently writing The Makers of Faker, a biography chronicling the career of legendary Korean esports icon Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok.
