The new GTA Online mansions update adds three manors to choose from. However, the one you aim for should depend on your desired location, design preferences, and, ultimately, cost. Such real estate doesn’t come cheap, but the views, the glamour, and the upgrades will make it well worth it. Speaking of upgrades, the mansions offer the same, so no missing out.

The cheapest of the new GTA Online mansions is the GTA$11,500,000 Tongva Estate. Located in Tongva Hills, south of the heavily guarded Fort Zancudo, the vineyard-adjacent estate has Pacific views. The next most expensive is The Vinewood Residence, costing GTA$12,200,000. It’s a hillside mansion, located close to the iconic Vinewood sign.

Finally, the most expensive addition, located in the aptly named Richman area, is the Richman Villa. This will cost you GTA$12,800,00 before upgrades, and is the most self-indulgent of the three GTA Online properties. But why not, if you can afford it? Naturally, once you’ve purchased your mansion via Prix Luxury Real Estate, you’ll want upgrades.

So you’ve got your mansion, but your GTA Online cash reserves aren’t quite depleted. Well, if you don’t want to or can’t afford to own two or three of them, there are mansion upgrades that you can add to your completely tasteful home(s) with a view. These upgrades aren’t new, but the GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills update makes them mansion-friendly.

What can you do in a GTA Online mansion?

The new GTA Online update brings additional functionality through upgrades, but you can also carry out other tasks inside your safehouse in the hills. For example, you can control businesses via your mansion office’s Master Control Terminal. So you can manage your stock and ensure all is in order. Via the MCT, you can also launch GTA Online missions

Plus, if you want to customize your character, you can visit the in-mansion salon and tattoo parlor for a new cut or bit of ink. Further, you can increase your strength using the gym equipment, buy a dog or a cat, fast travel, host a party, have a champagne service, exit via vehicle, a luxury vehicle, or even a helicopter from the roof helipad.

Additionally, you can do yoga, increasing your stamina and giving you a temporary run and swim speed boost, display your glorious victories inside your mansion’s trophy cabinets, and more. Think of your new palace as a safe house, business hub, and ego-stroke all in one. You may occasionally need to leave, though.

Best tips to buy GTA Online mansions

It’s worth noting that although this update brings new Safehouse in the Hills missions, and the mansions with it, you don’t need to complete the missions for mansion access. Similarly, you don’t need to own the mansions to complete the missions. So, if you want to buy one, you should focus on a pile of cash big enough so that you can afford it.

But before you can do business with the in-game Prix Luxury Real Estate folks, you may want to complete heists and jobs. These can help you stump up the cash to fund such a lavish lifestyle. The Diamond Casino Heist is one option, as is the Reddit favorite heist, the Cayo Perico. Cayo should take around 40-45 minutes solo for around GTA$1.5m.

What else is included in the GTA Online mansions update?

As well as a new mission creator, expanding the potential of GTA Online gameplay, the new update initially adds three new cars. They are: the Pfister X-treme (costing GTA$2,885,000), the Groti GT750 (costing GTA$1,247,000), and the Ubermacht Sentinel XS4 (costing GTA$1,429,000).

There’s an even more remarkable moment included in the update. No specific spoilers shall be given here, but a certain Michael De Santa may (does) make a return. Why and with what reason? Well, you’ll need to play the update to find out. And if you like, you can then purchase your very own mansion as well.
