Spintec and Blueprint announce automated mechanical roulette to debut at expo

Spintec and Blueprint have announced a new product, a ‘fully certified automated roulette,’ which has been developed exclusively for the B3 market at this year’s EAG Expo.

The Entertainment, Attractions and Gaming Expo will take place this month in London. It’s there that the mechanical roulette designed for the category will be shown, with this said to be the first to successfully enter the UK B3 market with 12 installations.

In the announcement via Spintec, the company states the product is based on what players love about virtual roulettes in the B3 and B4 markets, highlighting aspects like quick cycles, intuitive pre-game spinner, and a flow that keeps people engaged. They say the “authenticity and tactile appeal” are added with a physical wheel that supports shorter game cycles.

The design includes the same pacing, features, and user experience that people have already seen in virtual reality, but it is being powered by a mechanical wheel.

Speaking on the project, the product manager at Spintec, Erik Pegan, says: Erik Pegan, Product Manager at Spintec, added: “From the beginning, our vision was clear: bring true mechanical gameplay into a market where it had never existed.

“In the UK B3 sector, players had long experienced virtual roulette, but no one had ever delivered a mechanical alternative that met the same expectations for pace, engagement, and reliability. We took advantage of that gap and created something new and very exciting.”

Also at this year’s EAG Expo, the duo will introduce Hotspot Roulette which will feature a range of bet multipliers. They say the game operates at a lower RTP than standard roulette which could be an attractive point for operators.

Nadia Timofeev, director of operations at Blueprint Operations, comments: “Partnering with Spintec has let us create something genuinely exciting — a product that brings real casino energy into AGCs.

“We’ve put in the work, listened to the market, and built something that players love and operators are already seeing pay off in revenue and footfall. And this is just the start. The roadmap ahead is packed with even more developments, and I can’t wait for what’s coming next.”
