Unfortunately, the downside to so many types of currency in Where Winds Meet is that it can be overwhelming to get, use, and keep track of each type. While some coins can be exchanged for in-game items, others are used in the Gacha mechanics focused on cosmetics. Additionally, certain types of currency have daily caps. Below, we’ll go over everything players need to know.

When it comes to the Where Winds Meet currency types, the vast majority can be earned by engaging in standard gameplay. Despite this, these types of coins won’t be as powerful as the premium Echo Beads purchased with real money. Echo Beads are considered the best of all available options, and they aren’t a cheap investment, as they are designed to give players access to some of the “better” cosmetics and items currently available.

Echo Beads offer access to the premium gacha pools, often rewarding players with better cosmetics and a higher bracket of rarity when pulling. Unfortunately, it is very rarely worth it to spend real money on these types of games. Currently, there is nothing offered in Where Winds Meet that makes dumping real money into the game worth it.

The most useful currencies in Where Winds Meet outside of the Echo Beds are the Standard Coins and Echo Jade. Both of these currency types are used widely, with each covering different purchases. They are also some of the most common coins earned, making them important to gameplay.

While the Echo Jade and Standard Coins are useful, they won’t purchase everything. Where Winds Meet has broken different types of cosmetics between the many shops that players will interact with. This makes saving and purchasing a variety of options more difficult. The co-op currencies are the most frustrating to grind, as earning them requires players to engage with others and participate in multiplayer tasks.

However, this does mean that each type of currency in Where Winds Meet will have different importance to each player. The type needed will depend on what cosmetics and items are for sale in which shops. From there, players can decide what they need to focus on while playing that week. Be sure to pay attention to the weekly caps, as the rarest of the currencies will limit how much can be amassed during activities and quests.
