Whether you’re a mount collector, raider, or PvP lover, chances are you got stuck into Legion Remix’s content. Below, we’ve gathered all the crucial information about the Legion Remix event in World of Warcraft for quick reference.

  • World of Warcraft Legion Remix began on October 7, 2025, and ran up until January 20, 2026. 
  • Content was split into five main phases, taking players through an accelerated version of the standard Legion campaign, ending with a chance to say farewell to the Infinites before the event came to a close.
  • One of the highlights of WoW Legion Remix was the variety of content on offer for collectors, with players being able to earn Bronze and spend it on unique mounts, battle pets, and toys.
  • Artifacts also made an appearance, with Timerunners – special Remix characters – being able to earn all of the artifacts for their class and experience the questlines for each one individually.
  • Just like Mists of Pandaria Remix, Legion Remix allowed players to convert their Timerunners into standard characters, meaning they could be taken from the Infinite Bazar and placed into the standard timeline.

As shown in the August 13, 2025 edition of WoWCast, WoW Legion Remix popped up with patch 11.2.5, meaning players were able to dig in from October 7, 2025. The event ran up until January 20, 2026. 

The response to the reveal was positive, with some WoWCast viewers saying that the event was more exciting than an actual expansion reveal and that it could be even better than WoW Mists of Pandaria Remix.

Based on the social responses we saw throughout the event, it’s safe to say the community had a blast with Legion Remix, aside from a few quirks here and there. 

Was WoW Legion Remix a paid event?

Aside from the regular cost of WoW, no – as with the previous Remix events, Legion Remix was available to anyone with an active World of Warcraft subscription. Remix events are essentially a limited-time expansion of the standard retail experience. 

How did you take part in Legion Remix?

During Legion Remix, players were able to log on to retail WoW and create a Timerunner. Timerunners are special characters that can play Remix content while the event is live, accessible via the log-in screen.

When Legion Remix came to a close, players could transfer their Timerunners over to the regular server and continue playing with them in current content. A common issue that popped up was the standard conversion quirk

If you’ve not played a Remix event before, they provide an accelerated way to experience an expansion’s content, offering buffs and additional abilities for players to pick up as they level, making tricky content easier to tackle. 

The WoW Legion Remix announcement gave a brief overview of what players could expect from the event, describing how it’d be split into different phases.

Legion Remix had five phases to play through, with each one highlighting a different part of the main storyline of the expansion. A new phase opened every two weeks, meaning there was plenty to explore. 

Collectors were in for a treat with Legion Remix, too, as there were heaps of mounts, transmogs, and pets to chase. 

World of Warcraft Legion Remix was a monumental event for fans of the Broken Shores, collectors, and players with alts to level up. With competitive content and casual experiences on offer in equal measures, it’ll be looked back on fondly by the community.
