Your ultimate guide to Teemo in 2XKO: moveset, combos, counters and more 

Why do some fighting games, especially anime-inspired ones, feel the need to insert small, cute, animal characters, with tiny bodies and awkward attacks? I’m looking at you, Gon from Tekken 3, Pet Shop from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future, and Duck Hunt Duo from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. 

2XKO at least has the excuse of featuring established, popular League of Legends characters. This is why Teemo is in the game: the cute critter who surprised fans with some fantastic moves.

• Teemo is a Yordle Champion from League of Legends, who is one of the roster of Champions in 2XKO. 
• To play as Teemo, players need to unlock him using a Champion Token, which can be purchased with money or unlocked through play.

Teemo’s complete moveset in 2XKO

Teemo has several unique 2XKO gimmicks that set him apart from the rest of the cast. First of all, he’s small, meaning he has a shorter hitbox for enemy attacks, making it easier to dodge their blows.

When Teemo jumps, he can deploy a parachute to slow his descent while still using some of his attacks. While crouching, he can temporarily go invisible. 

Teemo’s biggest gimmick is his badges. If Teemo uses specific moves throughout the match, he’ll earn Badges, which improve particular attacks. Notably, the Badges stick around between rounds! Teemo’s Badges are: 

Dart Badge: Gained after hitting an enemy 12 times with darts.

Mushroom Badge: Gained after hitting an enemy 10 times with his Noxious Trap special.

Slingshot Badge: Gained after hitting an enemy 5 times with his Sharpshooting Scout special.

Specials

• Bandle Dash (Forward + S1) – Teemo does a Sonic the Hedgehog-style ball jump into the enemy. Holding the button deals more hits.
• Sharpshooting Scout (Up) (Down + S1) – Teemo fires a bouncing ball in a diagonal arc towards the enemy. If you have the Slingshot Badge, the ball is on fire. 
• Guerilla Tactics (Down + S2) – Teemo plants grass on the ground, which gradually grows. Once grown, Teemo can set it on fire as a trap or sit inside it to go invisible faster. 
  • Retreat (Down + S2 after using Guerrilla Tactics) – Teleport to the grass.
• Noxious Trap (Forward Toss) (Forward + S2) – Teemo throws a poisonous mushroom forward. It can be used in the air.
• Noxious Trap (S2) – Teemo places an exploding mushroom on the ground. These can bounce off each other. Once the Mushroom Badge is obtained, the mushrooms release a poison cloud. 
• Sharpshooting Scout (S1) – Teemo fires a bouncing ball directly forward. If you have the Slingshot Badge, the ball is on fire. 

Unique Moves

• Cheeky Drop (Down + H while in the air) – Teemo slams into the ground.
• Treasure Hunt (Down Forward + H) – Teemo shovels the ground, which can knock both enemies and his mushroom traps back 
• Dart Attack (L) – Teemo fires a dart. If the Dart Badge is obtained, the darts become poisonous and deal gradual damage over time.
  • Dart Short Again (L) – A follow-up dart attack.
  • Dart Shot Crescendo (L) – Teemo fires a spray of darts.
• Yordle Hike (Down + M while in the air) – Teemo does a hop attack.
  • Yordle Journey (Down + M after Yordle Hike) – Teemo does a second hop attack.
  • Yordle Summit (Down + M after Yordle Journey) – Teemo does a third hop attack.
• Heavy Attack (H) – Teemo strikes the enemy with his axe.
  • Axe-cidental Damage (H after Heavy Attack) – Teemo strikes again with the axe.
• Parachute (Up while in the air) – Teemo brings out his parachute, which can be steered left or right. 

Supers

• Bandle Sky Patron (Costs 1 Meter) (S1 + L/M/H) – Teemo flies upward and starts firing darts towards the enemy. The player can steer his movement in this form.
• Noxious Surprise (Costs 1 Meter) (S2 + L/M/H) – Teemo digs up a massive mushroom in front of him that explodes into multiple hits. Counts two towards earning the Mushroom Badge. 

Ultimate

• Blinding Dart (Costs 3 Meter) (S1 + S2) – Teemo fires a dart at the enemy that pins them in place, allowing him to rise into the air and bombard them with mushrooms. 

Assists

• Darts Assist (Backward + T) – Teemo jumps in and fires a spray of darts at the enemy.
• Noxious Trap Assist (T) – Teemo appears and drops a poisonous mushroom on the ground.
• Noxious Sweeper Assist (Down + T) – Teemo flies over the battlefield and bombards the area with mushrooms. Can only be used if the Assist is KO’d.

Best Teemo team in 2XKO

Teemo really needs the help of an Assist character in 2XKO, as having a Champion who builds up the Super Meter or to switch into when you need someone to get up close and personal is incredibly useful. 

For melee fighters, Vi or Darius are excellent choices, as they have the offensive potential to punish foes who get close when you’re able to do a tag. Warwick is also a decent choice here. 

For swifter characters, Ahri and Jinx are top picks. Ahri is fast, can cover a lot of ground, and has some great Supers that combo well with Teemo’s attacks. Jinx is a fellow ranged/zoner who can also pile on damage from afar when needed.

Best Teemo counters in 2XKO

Teemo relies heavily on projectiles and lingering assets on the battlefield. While he has an excellent zoning and ranged game, there are some Champions who can get through the Yordle’s death maze and start punishing the doomed scout. 

Yasuo – This samurai’s Wind Wall is the perfect counter to Teemo’s nonsense, as it can remove many of his options from the field. 

Ekko – Much like when facing Jinx, Ekko is an excellent choice for facing ranged characters like Teemo. Ekko’s speed, acrobatic combos, and ability to shift positions through their Afterimage make it easy for them to evade and close the distance.
