Fable III Walkthrough Explains the Intricacies of Real Estate

Do you want to become a real estate magnate in Fable III? This video will show you how it all works.

As with previous games in the series, Fable III will let you buy and decorate properties throughout the various towns in Albion. In Fable III, you’ll be able to decorate, rent and sell your real estate, too – and from the looks of it, this optional feature (which I’m hesitant to even call a “minigame”) will probably consume dozens of hours for the Sims-loving crowd.

This walkthrough – narrated by one of those Lionhead folks with a ear-pleasing British accent – gives just a taste of what players can get up to in their Fable III redecorating. It seems that we’ll have far more options about what we want to place where than ever before, though I hope that this game retains the system where you can display trophies you’ve earned over your adventures, because I always found that to be kind of cool.

I do like that there seems to be enough here to satisfy the obsessive interior decorator mentality as well as the cash-hungry landlord mindset. As with many things in the Fable series, it does admittedly seem a bit tertiary – you can do it, but why would you care? – but I’m sure somebody will have fun with it.
