GOG is offering a discount of up to 75 percent off on a collection of its horror titles.
GOG, ever happy to empty the wallets of gamers, has announced a new promo filled to the brim with spooky games suitable for a Halloween horror binge. The “No Trick, All Treat” sale is offering discounts of up to 75 percent off on a collection of 18 horror titles from the GOG library. Several new games will also receive price drops including Outlast, which is on sale for $13.39, and Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut which will be joining the site’s offerings today.
Outside of these new releases horror fans will also find deals on Amnesia: The Dark Descent and its follow-up Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. Alan Wake will also be discounted, as will the Gabriel Knight games, the Alone in the Dark series and I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. The whole lot of 18 will cost just under $70, which is an arguably great deal when you consider that you’re basically getting enough scary games to play until Halloween 2014.
Put shortly, we definitely suggest you take a peek at the games being offered and see if there’s anything that strikes your fancy. Personally, I have my sights set on Sanitarium, an isometric horror title originally released back in 1998. I can remember seeing it in bargain bins over the years and have always had a nascent desire to give it a try. My GOG backlog is already overflowing with games that I’ll probably never get around to, but a part of me wants to buy it any ways. The No Trick, All Treat promo will run until November 1st.
