Grand Theft Auto V players will be able to transfer their progress from PS3 and Xbox 360.

Grand Theft Auto V will finally make it to PS4, Xbox One, and PC this fall. In addition to coming to newer consoles and PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 users will be able to transfer their progress and characters to newer versions of the game.

Noted at the end of the E3 trailer is that all of the footage in this trailer is from the PS4 version.

Additions to the game will include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions. All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online will be available for PC, PS3, and Xbox One, Rockstar stated. More content will come to the newer versions as well. The PC edition will also include a video editor.

Grand Theft Auto V originally launched September 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
