However, some outfits from older seasons simply can’t be beaten, in terms of their aesthetic appeal, value for players, or both. Here are 5 Infinity Nikki banners that I’m convinced need to make a comeback when reruns become more frequent in the game.

The Escapist recaps

  • Infinity Nikki introduces new banners with every season, adding even more variety to the already vast list of cosmetics and outfits on offer. It’s one of the highlights of a new season being announced for many players.
  • While reruns are rare, they have happened already in past seasons, meaning more reruns will likely occur down the line.
  • Whimsicalities with useful abilities should take priority over other rerun contenders; this will give newer players the chance to access key gameplay elements, like the Adventure Ride outfit.
  • Outside of useful outfits, I’m hoping that banners with plenty of variety get a second chance to shine, letting the reruns appeal to as many players as possible.

5 Infinity Nikki banners that need to come back

Infinity Nikki reruns aren’t frequent, by any means, but this isn’t unusual for a game that’s still relatively new in the gacha scene.

As the game gets older, we’ll likely see more gacha banners making a reappearance, to give fans the chance to complete their collection or stock up on useful items to help with systems like farming or collecting resources.

Journey On Wind (Adventure Ride)

Whimsicality outfits aren’t always useful, with the Cloud Reverie outfit being the only recent exception to this rule. Another notable exception to the rule is the Journey On Wind banner, featuring the Adventure Ride outfit.

Adventure Ride is one of the most important Whimsicality outfits to have at your disposal as a player; it greatly enhances mobility and makes it easier to get across the vast Miraland map. Bringing this back would be beneficial for new players and folks who missed out on picking up the best Whimsicality in the game the first time around.

Fireworks Prelude (Enduring Bond)

Most Whimsicality outfits in Infinity Nikki offer aesthetic perks over practical ones, like Adventure Ride, and one of the best examples of this is the Enduring Bond outfit, found under the Fireworks Prelude banner from Firework Season.

Enduring Bond has one of the more unique Whimsicalities for aesthetic-focused fans, letting Nikki undergo a mysterious transformation and send out a cascade of letters. It makes for a fantastic photo opportunity and would be a wonderful addition to any spooky or seasonal rerun line-ups in 2026.

Eternal Snow (Rosy Reverie)

Eternal Snow was a banner in Bubble Season, and it featured two strikingly different outfits. Snowy Ballad was a beautiful, ice-themed set with a Water Walking ability, but Rosy Reverie was the highlight, with a truly unique, old-money design.

Not only was Rosy Reverie a standout for collectors and completionists thanks to its glamorous, luxurious feel, it also had an interesting Whimsicality – Mirror Mirror. It’s another cosmetic Whimsicality, letting Nikki pose in front of the mirror for cute photos, and it would be great to see this return for creative photographers in the community.

Skyward Bouquets (Stardust Flare)

A glamorous character from Infinity Nikki wearing a shimmering golden gown and jeweled crown, standing near a carousel under glowing lights and fireworks in the background.

While I may be in the minority here, I believe Firework Season had some of the best-designed outfits in Infinity Nikki’s history. Alongside Fireworks Prelude, Skyward Bouquets stood out as a stunning banner with a special twist on the classic Nikki ballgown in the form of Stardust Flare.

Offering good value for competitions and plenty of variety in its evolutions – including the Golden variant, reminiscent of a certain Disney princess – the Stardust Flare outfit would be the ideal fit for any reruns that might take place at the beginning of 2026.

Inkwoven Bonds (Lotus Heart)

Finally, reruns from recent seasons aren’t likely to pop up any time soon – but consider this a prediction for reruns down the line. Not bringing the Inkwoven Bonds banner back at least once would be a missed opportunity; it was the most deeply varied banner out of recent seasons.

The Lotus Heart outfit stood out as a particular highlight. It had something for everyone – pastel fans, classic fashion enjoyers, and those who like darker outfits – as well as a fun Whimsicality that involved enchanted make-up.

Nothing official has been confirmed about any reruns this season – or next season, for that matter. However, we’ll likely see more reruns pop up later in Infinity Nikki’s development, giving newer players the chance to pick up banners they missed out on the first time around; hopefully, this’ll include the 5 banners I’ve listed here.
