Those of you holding out for a PC version of Fuelcell’s Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet are in luck, at least according to the ESRB.
While Fuelcell hasn’t confirmed anything just yet, they did respond to news of an ESRB rating for the game by retweeting the article and adding a little winking smiley face. Interpret that how you will.
Designed by Canadian cartoonist Michel GagnĆ© and done entirely in his signature style, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet was one of the most visually striking games of last year. It was a relatively subdued exploration-shooter with a beautifully presented but minimalist narrative and more than a little Metroid DNA thrown into the mix. In my opinion, it was the best game of 2011’s Summer of Arcade lineup, even when compared to the absolutely phenomenal Bastion. Our own Justin Clouse gave the game four out of five.
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is currently available on Xbox Live for 1200MSP. More news on the PC version as we get it.
