Fans can expect to see more information about the Marvel’s Wolverine release day in spring 2026, based on the linked blog post above, which is when a release date will likely be revealed, potentially alongside game editions, too. 

Are the prices for Marvel’s Wolverine confirmed?

No, at the time of writing, there have been no official updates about Marvel’s Wolverine prices or editions. Pre-orders are also not currently open. 

Based on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, it’ll likely be in the realm of $70. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a recent PS5 game by Insomniac Games, and it appears to be a similar scope, so we’re speculating that Marvel’s Wolverine will be priced similarly. This is speculation, though.

Confirmed Marvel’s Wolverine platforms

Marvel’s Wolverine will be available on PS5, as per the game hub on the Marvel site. Currently, there has been no mention of it being available on any other platforms, although we’ll be sure to update this article if this changes. 

Marvel’s Wolverine gameplay & trailer analysis

A vibrant Marvel’s Wolverine trailer was shown off in the September 2025 State of Play showcase, highlighting what fans can expect when the game drops. It featured a combination of cutscenes and gameplay, running just under two minutes in total.

Combat seems to be a core focus of the game, centering around Wolverine’s claws and impressive strength. It’s a rather gory game – as you might expect, based on the character – and combat looks both smooth and punchy.

The game world seems vibrant and detailed, with plenty of interesting areas to explore. Interestingly, marketing materials for the game mention that the player will be exploring areas like Madripoor, Canada, and Tokyo. 

What other characters will be in Marvel’s Wolverine?

Details are currently limited, but a few familiar faces were spotted in the State of Play Marvel’s Wolverine trailer. Omega Red makes a brief appearance, with Mystique appearing later on. 

Marvel’s Wolverine is looking like an unmissable title for fans of the comic book character, promising a blend of adrenaline-packed combat, exploration, and interesting story beats.
