Kirby Air Riders gameplay

Hope you’re excited for Kirby Air Riders, as you’re getting another Nintendo Direct for it

In case there was any doubt Nintendo really wants you to be aware of Masahiro Sakurai’s latest Kirby Air Riders project, the publisher is holding another Nintendo Direct for the game on October 23, 2025.

The action-racer was shown off in a pretty extensive August 19 Direct event, lasting 47 minutes. This week’s one, however, beats that handily with a runtime of an hour.

‘Everything you’ve ever wanted to know about Kirby Air Riders but were too afraid to ask’ will debut at 6 am PT on Thursday.

“Join us on Oct. 23 at 6 a.m. PT for a second #KirbyAirRiders Direct with director Mr. Sakurai,” Nintendo of America posted on X (formerly Twitter).

“The livestreamed presentation will last roughly 60 minutes and feature more info on the upcoming #NintendoSwitch2 game.”

Kirby Air Riders is one of three upcoming Switch 2 titles that are closing out the new console’s calendar year, and launches on November 20.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a Switch 2 exclusive hack-and-slack Zelda title launching on November 6, and after Kirby Air Riders, we’ve got Metroid Prime 4: Beyond coming to Switch 1 and 2 on December 4.

The most recent Nintendo Direct, on September 12, focused on Mario titles for the series’ 40th anniversary while also revealing DLC for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Resident Evil Requiem for Switch 2, and a new Fire Emblem title, Fortune’s Weave.

We also got the reveal of a new Virtual Boy peripheral, for some reason.
