New Tanglewood Drive Rework in Phasmophobia has more closets and loop spots

Last night, the fellas and I sent old Tanglewood off in style, dropping Tarot cards, cursed hunts, and aggressive hunts like no one’s business. We thought, maybe the new map would be worse, maybe our nostalgia would be just. Alas, the new Tanglewood Drive rework in Phasmophobia is arguably much better now.

The devs were right by saying they wanted to make the Tanglewood rework announcement from last week feel a bit more unique and lived in, distinguishing it from the rest of the base Unity assets on other maps. Now, Tanglewood has a distinct, creepy old person’s home vibe to it, and I’m very much there for it.

New Looping Spots

The only really looping spot to avoid the ghost was in the Kitchen, looping around the super long table. However, there are a few more spots you can loop around Tanglewood now while trying to kite the ghost the best you can.

The basement is a great new spot, thanks to the new Hornby Train set table that you can loop around fairly easily.

The Garage also now has a much better car and space to loop around, and you can still see the ghost moving around compared to before.

You can still somewhat loop around the kitchen, but it’s much less effective with the kitchen and dining area better partitioned compared to last time.

This is on top of all the new closets added to the game, with the master bedroom getting a closet, and the baby room also getting a closet next to its door, alongside the one in the front door bedroom, and the corridor too. There are also hiding spots in the garage and the basement, meaning for a small map, there’s quite a lot of room to really pull off some ghost-avoiding tactics.

Good job on the new map, Kinetic.
