Ryse: Son of Rome Live-Action Series The Fall Coming Next Month

Xbox One’s roman epic gets a web-series to build hype for launch.

Microsoft and Machinima are teaming to create a live-action web series based on Ryse: Son of Rome. The four-part series will air on Machinima in the weeks leading up to the Xbox One launch November 22.

The announcement comes after a leaked teaser on Xbox.com apparently let the cat out of the bag last week.

Set in ancient Rome, Ryse: Son of Rome puts players in control of Centurion Marius Titus, who rejoins the army to get revenge against the barbarians who killed his family. As the name implies, The Fall seems to be a prequel revolving around the chain of events that put Marius back on the warpath.
