Scalebound Brings Dragons to Xbox One

PlatinumGames works with Microsft to bring dragons to Xbox One with Scalebound.

Microsoft announced Scalebound, a new fantasy action game from PlatinumGames, the studio behind Bayonetta and Vanquish. On the PlatinumGames’ page, some of the team behind the new IP wrote about why they wanted to make a dragon game and bringing together Japanese and American teams.

In the trailer, a very JRPG looking character faces off with a giant monster and triggers full-body armor before dishing out some serious damage. Once a giant, hydra style creature appeared, the warrior jumps on the back of a dragon and flies into battle. It looks exciting and is something unique for Xbox One.
