“Hey Shamus, why did you decide to become a Garry’s Mod comic all of a sudden?”

For some reason people always look at the last ten comics and decide this is the “new” direction for Stolen Pixels. To be honest: It’s all random. There’s no plan. Sometimes I’ll find a good game for screenshots and we’ll do that. Sometimes I use stock photos. Sometimes we get some Travis. And sometimes we get this.

I’ve been playing Saboteur, Red Faction, and Sins of a Solar Empire. None of them has jumped out at me as being very good screenshot-comic fodder. (I don’t know what my problem is with Red Faction, either. This game is just begging for it. Is it possible for a plot to be too tepid to mock?)

Shamus Young is the guy behind this website, this book, these three webcomics, and this program.
