The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 Trailer Reveals 2022 Launch

This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

Nintendo’s sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, sometimes just called Breath of the Wild 2 since there is no official title yet, just gave fans lots of in-game footage to sink their teeth into. This is our first update since 2019 when the game was first announced. Its initial trailer promised a darker entry in the Zelda universe, something we saw more of during Nintendo’s E3 2021 Direct presentation today. Some highlights include a great look at new mechanics, enemies, abilities, and a new look for Hyrule, as Nintendo promises the sequel includes the skies above the franchise’s famous setting. We even got a release window, scheduling the game to arrive on Nintendo Switch sometime in 2022. Watch today’s trailer below for our first real look at what’s in store with Breath of the Wild 2.
